Licence Appeal Tribunal

The Licence Appeal Tribunal’s mandate is to provide a fair, impartial and efficient means of appealing decisions relating to compensation claims and a broad range of licencing activities regulated by several ministries of the provincial government. The Tribunal receives appeals, conducts hearings, resolves disputes and renders decisions on compensation claims and licencing activities regulated by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Children and Youth Services, the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, the Ministry of Consumer Services, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of the Attorney General.

Effective advocacy before the Licence Appeal Tribunal requires experience and a thorough understanding of the regulatory framework at issue and the culture of the Licence Appeal Tribunal.
